Speech and language therapy requires you to be creative and flexible in more ways than you can imagine. No two sessions ever turn out the same. The on-the-spot thinking keeps the role exciting and challenging. The area I find most interesting about speech and language is how we process the language we're exposed to and the different theories of language processing. My most favourite part of speech and language therapy is the impact we get to make in helping others express themselves or engage with the world around them.

 My favourite word is “Kerfuffle” because it's just so fun to say!
