There is nothing like the feeling you get as a therapist when your client achieves a goal that once seemed so out of reach in their eyes. I am so grateful to get to be a part of the incredible journeys that people make towards living the life they always wanted.
I get great pleasure from continuing to develop and learn as a Speech and Language Therapist.
My favourite word is ‘gloaming’ which means twilight. It was originally used in Scottish dialects in the Middle Ages and comes from an ancient word for ‘glow’. This word makes me think of mysterious, rugged landscapes on remote Scottish islands.
