Speech and Language Therapist

I had always felt conflicted between the arts and science subjects and thought I’d have to choose one or the other. So, when I found Speech and Language Therapy and all that it encompasses, I just knew it was ideal for me! Speech and Language therapy is as much of an art as it is a science through combining creative and analytical thinking to identify solutions that may not be immediately obvious. This out-of-the box thinking means I’m continuously thinking of fun, engaging and personalised methods to deliver therapy which is a huge part of why I love the job!

My favourite word is ‘nostalgia’, not so much for the way it sounds but for the way it makes me feel. When I hear the word, I can’t help but think about the happiest moments of my life.
