Speech and Language Therapist
I have always been passionate about science, psychology and the fascinating way we use language to express who we are as a person: our thoughts, our humour, our feelings and our needs. To me, Speech and Language Therapy beautifully combines these areas to create connection and understanding in a time of potential challenge. I feel honoured to be a part of and to support children’s speech and language therapy journeys, collaborating closely with families, caregivers and other professionals to build an environment of accessibility, inclusivity and opportunity - an environment where children can feel heard and seen for who they uniquely are, no matter the difficulties they may be facing.
My favourite word is ‘Eunoia’. It is derived from ancient Greek, meaning ‘beautiful thinking’ and the good will we hold in our hearts.
