I chose to work in Speech and Language Therapy because communication is such an important part of everyday life. Being able to support people to express themselves, connect with others, and feel more confident is something I find incredibly rewarding. I’m especially looking forward to developing my skills further and learning from the wide variety of people I’ll work with across different settings.
As a newly qualified Speech and Language Therapist, I’m keen to explore all areas of practice and develop my skills across different settings. I’m particularly interested in discovering where I can make the biggest difference and learning from experienced colleagues along the way.
My favourite word is Serendipity - the idea that unexpected, positive moments can still happen, even after difficult times.
