Speech and Language Therapist
I chose to become a Speech and Language Therapist as I believe that communication is essential to connecting with others and living well. I am fascinated with language and the brain and I have always been passionate about working with children. After learning more about this during my BSc Psychology degree, I decided I wanted to pursue these areas further by becoming a Speech and Language Therapist.
I loved completing my MSc Speech and Language Therapy degree, and I am excited to continue to learn about and work with a wide range of specialisms. As a singer and generally crafty person, I love being creative in my personal life and with the therapy I deliver, and I look forward to pursuing more of this at Magic Words Therapy as a newly qualified practitioner.
My favourite word is "joy", as it evokes a positive feeling and is a reminder to try and bring joy to others in all we do. It’s also the surname of my mother’s side of the family!
