Laura Murphy
Based in London Archway
Speech and Language Therapist
My interest in Speech and Language Therapy comes from a belief that every child deserves the opportunity to connect, communicate, and thrive. There is nothing more rewarding than being part of a family’s journey, guiding a child as they learn to express their needs, build confidence, and share their unique personality with the world.
I enjoy unravelling speech, language and communication patterns to create tailored, evidence-based support for every child. Collaborating closely with parents, caregivers, and teachers is central to my approach, ensuring that communication strategies are practical and embedded seamlessly into daily life. I am particularly passionate about working with bilingual families, supporting dual-language development while celebrating the rich cognitive and cultural strengths it brings.
My favourite word is ‘Pamplemousse' ('grapefruit' in French) - it sounds both silly and sophisticated all at once!
