I have always been fascinated by the power of words and language. I fell in love with linguistics during my time at university and chose to jump into the field of speech and language therapy to help others with their communication difficulties. I am excited to help children and young people discover themselves, find their own unique strengths and empower others to advocate for their needs.

My favourite word is “phonaesthetics” pronounced /ˌfɒnəsˈθɛtɪks/ because I love how sounds can feel beautiful or unappealing depending on your personal perspective. Perhaps that’s why Romance languages like French and Spanish sound so romantic!
