Speech and Language Therapist
I have always been fascinated by the power of words and language. I fell in love with linguistics during my time at university and chose to jump into the field of speech and language therapy to help others with their communication difficulties. I am excited to help children and young people discover themselves, find their own unique strengths and empower others to advocate for their needs.
My favourite word is “phonaesthetics” pronounced /ˌfɒnəsˈθɛtɪks/ as I love how sounds can be perceived as beautiful or unappealing depending on your perspective of the sounds waves you hear. No wonder Romance languages like French and Spanish sound so romantic!
