I chose speech therapy as a career as I am passionate about helping people to communicate to the best of their ability and therefore gaining greater independence in their lives. Being able to support someone in finding their voice, whether through speech, language or alternative means is deeply meaningful to me. I love the blend of science, creativity and empathy the profession requires. I am constantly inspired by the resilience and progression of the individuals I work with.
I am especially excited to join a supportive and excellent team at Magic Words, where I can continue to grow as a clinician whilst contributing to a service that truly makes a difference. The organisation's values and client centred approach alongside commitment to empowering families align perfectly with what motivates me. I can't wait to play a part in improving people's lives by enabling them to communicate effectively, build confidence and experience the autonomy they deserve.
My favourite word is ‘Namaste’ - My soul honours your soul, I bow to the divine in you, we are one. To feel a connection with others and respect everyone.
