We consider our investment in the services of Magic Words to be invaluable

“At Daubeney Academy we recognise the need for expert assessment and intervention to support our students with Speech, Language and Communication Needs. As a result we have worked closely and successfully with Magic Words colleagues for a number of years.

Their involvement in our students' growth and development has been significant and covers a vast range of areas of need including those beyond the perimeters of core intervention.

Our students respond well and feel supported, developing trusting, positive relationships with the therapist. As a staff body we benefit from the expert advice and collaborative working relationships we develop and our learning support team feel empowered to deliver interventions that are guided by her.

We consider our investment in the services of Magic Words to be invaluable.”

...pivotal in supporting the speech and language development of our deaf children!

I work in a mainstream school with a specialist deaf provision and have had the privilege of working with Elen over the last few years. It is difficult to put into words just how amazing she is and has been and the positivity and support she brings to our team, both children and staff. She promotes inclusivity in a unique and neurodiverse affirming way and has been pivotal in supporting the speech and language development of our deaf children. As well as helping our mainstream staff implement strategies, such as visual coding, to support all children.

Working with Magic Words has been easy and impactful!

Working with Magic Words has been easy and impactful. Our therapist is highly skilled in her field and always willing to support, guide and advise as needed. Nothing is too much trouble and there is always flexibility to respond to the needs of the school at a given time. I wouldn’t change them as a provider and look forward to continuing to build our relationship.

She has been an amazing asset and I just wanted to share with you how happy we are..

“I would like to comment on the wonderful service that Lizzie Leusink continues to provide for our children with Speech and Language needs. She has been an amazing asset and I just wanted to share with you how happy we are with Lizzie. She feels very much part of our KGS team. She is extremely thorough and has already made positive links with some of the parents, which sometimes can be difficult to connect with.

Thank you once again for having such fantastic staff members.”

We're lucky to have Katie working with us!

“I am pleased to say that everything is going extremely well. Katie is such a positive, caring and knowledgeable person who is providing us with amazing support. She is supporting children and staff and is keeping me up to date with everything she is doing. She has super ideas to support our children at school, which is very beneficial to us. We're lucky to have Katie working with us!”

Her reports seem much more detailed and informative than previous ones

“We’re thrilled with Jasmine! She has been so thorough and really accommodating/flexible. Her reports seem much more detailed and informative than previous ones which has really helped staff as well as parents. She also manages to see many more children during a Wednesday, which again has been so helpful for us. We love having her, thank you so much!”

— Assistant Head Teacher, Oldbrook First School and Nursery

...we very much hope to have her with us for the foreseeable future.

“We continue to be very pleased with the support and work that Kate carries out at New Chapter. Over the years our procedures and systems with her have continued to improve and this has supported both school staff as well as Kate herself. I meet her as and when we feel it is required and she is always open and honest about what she is planning, but will also accept suggestions of ways forward etc. Kate makes herself available to all staff should they have queries and her reports are written in a timely manner. She is very much a part of the New Chapter team and we very much hope to have her with us for the foreseeable future.”
