He loves his sessions and always comes out buzzing!

“Magic Words has played an instrumental role in supporting my son’s speech improvements. He is now more eloquent and confident and that is thanks to Laraib, who has made sessions with him fun and interactive. He loves his sessions and always comes out buzzing. What I have also greatly appreciated is the flexibility of having sessions on school premises and the detailed email post each session from Laraib covering the areas of focus and the progress made. I would certainly recommend Laraib and Magic Words to others.”

We consider our investment in the services of Magic Words to be invaluable

“At Daubeney Academy we recognise the need for expert assessment and intervention to support our students with Speech, Language and Communication Needs. As a result we have worked closely and successfully with Magic Words colleagues for a number of years.

Their involvement in our students' growth and development has been significant and covers a vast range of areas of need including those beyond the perimeters of core intervention.

Our students respond well and feel supported, developing trusting, positive relationships with the therapist. As a staff body we benefit from the expert advice and collaborative working relationships we develop and our learning support team feel empowered to deliver interventions that are guided by her.

We consider our investment in the services of Magic Words to be invaluable.”

Very patient, sweet and caring!

“Sehar was amazing while doing the assessment with our son (4 years old), being very patient, sweet and caring. She also provided us (parents) a stammering sessions to support him in the best way possible. She was very helpful giving us some easy exercises (speech sound related) to do while waiting for his sessions to start (as there was a bit of wait for the day of the week we chose). Definitely I recommend Magic Words!”

Magic Words has been amazing!

Magic Words has been amazing in helping to understand my speech problems and why they are present. They also explained how sounds are produced which I found very informative but more importantly what I can do to practice overcoming my problems. Magic Words have been professional, understanding and kind from start to finish. Highly recommend!

...pivotal in supporting the speech and language development of our deaf children!

I work in a mainstream school with a specialist deaf provision and have had the privilege of working with Elen over the last few years. It is difficult to put into words just how amazing she is and has been and the positivity and support she brings to our team, both children and staff. She promotes inclusivity in a unique and neurodiverse affirming way and has been pivotal in supporting the speech and language development of our deaf children. As well as helping our mainstream staff implement strategies, such as visual coding, to support all children.

I cannot say enough positive things about her!

“Laura has been absolutely fantastic with my 15 year old son, helping him to correct a lateral lisp. I cannot say enough positive things about her! Laura is a great listener and was really attentive to my son's overall well-being throughout. She explained everything clearly and thoroughly and ensured the sessions were varied and enjoyable. All "homework" was emailed immediately and Laura always responded promptly to any queries we had. Laura was encouraging at all times and I wouldn't hesitiate to recommend her.”

After a couple of sessions my voice was strong and smooth again.

“Once again, I cannot praise Magic Words highly enough. When I lost my voice again, my husband phoned up and I was able to see Sonali Dutta very speedily. After a full assessment she gave me a programme of vocal exercises designed to help my voice to return. After a couple of sessions my voice was strong and smooth again.
I appreciate Sonali's expertise and encouragement. I am now very grateful for her vocal recommendations to ensure that further loss of voice is reduced as much as possible. I am reassured to know that I can contact Magic Words again at any time.”

Working with Magic Words has been easy and impactful!

Working with Magic Words has been easy and impactful. Our therapist is highly skilled in her field and always willing to support, guide and advise as needed. Nothing is too much trouble and there is always flexibility to respond to the needs of the school at a given time. I wouldn’t change them as a provider and look forward to continuing to build our relationship.

We have seen our son go from strength to strength with his speech...

“We have seen our son go from strength to strength with his speech after attending Magic Words speech and language sessions with Jasmine. His ability to communicate through speech, and to form sentences has come really far thanks to her careful planning, understanding of his needs and making the sessions fun and accessible for him. Jasmine also makes sure to provide us with the materials needed to support our son at home and school too.

She has been an amazing asset and I just wanted to share with you how happy we are..

“I would like to comment on the wonderful service that Lizzie Leusink continues to provide for our children with Speech and Language needs. She has been an amazing asset and I just wanted to share with you how happy we are with Lizzie. She feels very much part of our KGS team. She is extremely thorough and has already made positive links with some of the parents, which sometimes can be difficult to connect with.

Thank you once again for having such fantastic staff members.”

...she was always delighted with her chats with you!

Chloe you have done such a fantastic job with K, not only in the results that you managed to bring about so quickly, but also in the way you engaged her in the process - she was always delighted with her chats with you and really felt like the whole thing was a game (as opposed to “lessons” that could have made her self-conscious about her mispronunciations)… So THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything
