Senior Speech and Language Therapist
My journey in Speech and Language Therapy began during my undergraduate degree in Experimental Psychology at the University of Bristol. I developed a strong interest in the psychology of language, particularly how children acquire language and the neural processes behind it. This interest led me to complete a postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy at University College London. Before joining Magic Words Therapy, I gained valuable experience within the NHS, supporting children in primary schools and working in a specialist pathway for speech sound disorders and dysfluency (stammering and cluttering).
I love my career because it allows me to create a lasting impact on my clients' lives by developing one of the most fundamental human skills: communication. Effective communication is key to building meaningful relationships, developing confidence and improving overall quality of life. I enjoy bringing creative ideas to my therapy sessions while grounding my practice in the latest evidence-based research, making each session fun, innovative and effective.
My favourite word is "onomatopoeia" because of the way it brings writing to life. I have loved reading since I was child, and I still find there is no better feeling than being immersed in a book.
