Communication is fundamental to living a fulfilling life. As a speech and language therapist, I am privileged to be able to help people connect with others to express their needs, wants and emotions, form relationships, and participate fully in society. 

I count myself lucky to do a job that combines science, creativity and fun! It involves working with a network of passionate people - from families, to carers, to other professionals.

My favourite word is 'murmuration', because it brings to mind the peacefulness of a flock of starlings moving together in perfect harmony.
