The Magic Words Summer Club can help your children to make considerable improvements in their speech, language and communication skills over the space of 1 summer.
The daily sessions will involve different turn-taking and social games to help children develop their interaction skills. We will have some language activities set each day, these may include targeting prepositions, vocabulary development and much more. In the afternoon there will be a slot for lego/duplo therapy depending on the age of the children attending. There will also be time for a themed crafts, sensory play and songs at the end.
Each week has a ‘theme’. The themes for the weeks are detailed below:
Week 1 – pirates
Week 2 – beach/holidays
Week 3 – space
Week 4 – vehicles
Week 5 – Party
Each themed week will have activities centred around these themes and some of the activities will be built on throughout the week. The groups are great for helping develop children’s SLCN and giving their skills a boost. They will benefit from a range of activities.

COST:
Bookings of 1 day = £50 per day
Bookings of 1 calendar week = £45 per day
Bookings of 2 calendar weeks = £44 per day
Bookings of 3 calendar weeks = £43 per day
Bookings of 4 calendar weeks = £41 per day
Bookings of 5 calendar weeks = £40 per day
Eligibility Criteria:
To attend children must fit the following criteria *:
Child must be able to focus on and complete a table-top activity.
Child must have verbal communication.
Child must be able to follow an adult agenda.

* If your child does not meet these criteria the club is not appropriate for them. If after the first day a child attends the club our therapists feel that your child does not meet the eligibility criteria stated above your child will not be able to continue to attend any further days and any fees you have paid for subsequent days will be re-funded.
