Since 2006 we have been working with schools to create and maintain high standards of speech and language therapy provision for pupils.

Over the years we have fine-tuned our skills, knowledge and understanding of how to provide schools with consistent and reliable speech and language therapy services that really work and achieve outstanding and tangible results that cannot be argued with.

Providing assessment and therapy for any identified children with speech, language or communication needs, we currently have our therapists placed at approximately 40 schools in the South East of England.

We can see children individually, in groups or a combination. We do in class therapy and joint teaching as well as seeing children for discrete therapy sessions. We work closely with SENCOs and head teachers to make sure that all the children that need our specialist input are getting it.

We have had feedback from more than one delighted headteacher over the years that investing in a Magic Words in-house speech and language therapy service has made all the difference in helping their school to achieve a more favourable result in their Ofsted inspection. We tend to find that once a therapist starts providing a regular, consistent service and the value of this is felt by the school, our role in the school broadens. Schools start to use our specialist skills and knowledge in order to transform the school into one that is recognised in the local community as being outstanding in supporting all children with their learning and development, not just children on the SEN register.
