Speech and Language Therapist

Speech and language therapy allows children and adults to communicate to the best of their ability and flourish within their community.  To communicate is a vital part of expressing needs, wants and ideas. I believe increasing awareness of communication through play is a crucial step for children developing their understanding of the world around them.

My favourite word is ‘ineffable’; this means too great to be expressed in words. Sometimes life can be more than words, consumed around feelings and energies greater than us.

The most important thing in communication is hearing what isn’t being said.
