Some Great Things Our Clients Have Said About Us:

Thank you for your messages and for copying me into M’s summaries. I actually wanted to message you on Friday after talking to M about the session. When I came home from the hospital M was beaming and could not wait to tell me about therapy with you. She was really happy, laughing and telling me all about how she practised the kinds of things one should say (or not say!) and just how much to say in a conversation. It sounded like she had a fabulous time with you, learnt some things she never knew about working a conversation and left you feeling really excited about practising these new skills.

When we first spoke, I never knew what to expect from your sessions (all our previous SALT experience was not good), but I had a good feeling and trusted M would respond to you and your approach. SALT is no longer ‘pointless’ and ‘patronising’; with Gianina, therapy is meaningful, helpful and really fun. This is what I have observed; I am sure M has feedback of her own.

Thank you so much for all you are doing to help M.”

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you Frankie for all the help you’ve given me. Back before therapy I never envisioned I would have such a positive mindset and attitude towards my stammer as what I do now, I feel so much more confident and comfortable in my own skin and accepting of my stammer. I feel I can now allow myself to be more excited about things in the future because I have fewer anxious and negative thoughts!

I would like to express my gratitude to ‘Magic Words Therapy’ for helping me to recover from loss of voice.
Following a virus early this year I was unable to speak beyond a whisper. This was adversely affecting my normal way of life and that of my family too.
After a very comprehensive initial assessment, Sonali Dutta designed an individually-tailored programme of voice and breathing exercises and vocal hygiene measures and weekly sessions with her.
Due to Covid 19 Lockdown Sonali and I had weekly online sessions which worked incredibly well,
with no technical issues at all. After each session she emailed me follow-up work to practise at home and I benefited hugely from her input.
I had complete faith in her ability to restore my voice and this was rewarded by a return to full voice. Sonali’s professional skills and her friendly and encouraging attitude made a huge difference to me and my family.
The ‘Magic Words’ team was outstanding. It combined exceptional service and efficiency with courtesy and a friendly manner. As a 66 year old woman I was made to feel very welcome and completely at ease. It is a common misconception that Speech and Language Therapy is mainly for children but Magic Words is able to help and advise all age-groups. I feel very reassured that I can contact Sonali and Magic Words again at any time.
Sonali has given me very effective strategies which I can use to resolve any problems with my voice in the future.
I would recommend Sonali and Magic Words very highly.

Thank you so much for all of your support with this Melissa!
I really enjoyed the training and learned so much from you. I regularly use knowledge I obtained on the course in my daily practice. I hope our paths cross again in the future.

Scott came home buzzing about the session and spoke very positively about the things that he did with you. I am pleased that he is taking such an honest, mature approach; he understands how important this work is for his whole future well-being. You seem to have started to build a good relationship with him which is important.

As for me, I am just so impressed with how absolutely spot-on this diagnosis is. I can see so clearly how this is going to help Scott: it is exactly what he needs. I am grateful, relieved and excited to think that he may eventually be able to interact confidently with the rest of society .. and may even one day speak to people he does not know and possibly even attend an interview in front of strangers and get a job!

For 2 years I have been getting this hesitation in my voice. I am 73 years old, happily retired, and used to train people on Communication and Interpersonal skills, which came as a bit of shock to me. Throughout this time I have seen privately 2 neurologists, a cardiologist, had a brain scan, ECG, EEG, had various tests, and had blood tests and ALL negative. I then ventured to sort this voice defect out, once and for all. I saw Frankie Paterson at Magic Words in Newport Pagnell in September 2019. Frankie, who was delightful, spent a lot of time with me and I got a detailed written report later. My local GP, having read the many reports that she had accumulated over time, commented on how Frankie’s report said it encompassed every aspect of my defect and the report said it ALL. Frankie’s report said that I may have Aphasia, which does not show up on the brain scan. She recommended I see Sonali, a specialist in this field and I have an appointment with Sonali on 6th December this year. I feel that we are finally getting there. Thank you Magic Words.
